How to make Caprese


What do you need? Only simple and high quality Italian ingredients: mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil!

  1. Slice the tomato in approximately 1/4 inch thick slices. Do the same for the mozzarella.
  2. Alternate layers between the tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. First, a tomato slice, then mozzarella slice, then a couple leaves of basil; beginning and ending with tomatoes.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
